Eastbury House to go west?

On 21 and 23 June you can see whether Eastbury House, that dreary 1960s glass box at the junction of Tinworth Street and the Albert Embankment, is to be replaced by anything better. It’ll certainly be taller. St James Developments has applied for planning permission to redevelop the 11-storey building into a mixed-use block of three skyscrapers 14, 21 and 28 storeys high. There’s an exhibition at the Carmelita Centre, 41 Vauxhall Walk, between 5pm and 8pm on Thursday 21 June and 10 am – 1 pm on Saturday 23 June.
